During the public meetings of the subregional workshop on the past August 4th, 2011, about 170 people were involved and among them were representatives of government procurement of the INGP member countries, recognized international experts and officials of agencies supporting the Network; as well as public sector professionals in Ecuador.

Regional workshop on sustainable public procurement

38 staff attended the event in the public sector of the countries involved in the implementation of the Marrakech Process methodology, among whom were representatives of government procurement at the INGP of 11 Latin American countries, as well as officials of environmental organizations governments and experts from international bodies.

Visit to Brazil of Jorge Luis Gonzalez, winner of "Joseph Francois Robert Marcello" Award

At the last VI Annual Conference of the INGP it was awarded to Jorge Luis Gonzalez of Ecuador the Leadership Award "Joseph François Robert Marcello" in public procurement. One of the prizes consisted of a grant allocated to learn more about the experience of leading a country.
